Frequently Asked Questions

Do you make house calls?
Yes, since 1989. Helping you setup and learn how to use your Apple Macintosh.

Who drew your illustrations?
Larry Ross, a local illustrator. His web site is www.LarryRoss.net

Can you help me with my Dell, Gateway, or HP Windows Computers?
Sorry, just Apple Macintosh, iPhone, iPads, iPods, etc.

Can you help with my wireless network?
Yes. Wireless internet, backup, printing, scanning, etc.

What do I need for my (new) Macintosh?
First, AppleCare, which extends your warranty from 1 to 3 years and extends phone
support with Apple to 3 years. Next, consider Apple's one to one, which is very cost
effective (and available only at the time you purchase a new Mac from an Apple Retail
Store or the Apple Online Store). Also, think about a reliable backup plan, on-site to
a hard drive or an Apple Time Capsule, or off-site via one of the network backup services.

Finally, a networked printer is a big win, if you want to print wirelessly from a laptop
or want to place the printer in a different room from your computer.

Did you ever work for Apple?
As of 2009, I've never worked for Apple, but Apple does license my database software.
